Location Valley View Hospital, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601, USA Salary Hourly: $19.00 – $25.66 per hour. Starting wage depends on education, experience, and skill set. Description Valley View is looking for a Dishwasher to assist with our Food Services department. This critical position performs a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain clean and sanitary conditions in all food service areas. This includes dishwashing, pot washing, general sanitation, and cleaning of kitchen equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor to a dishwashing machine, depending on assigned equipment. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation. Wash pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation. Wash silverware and ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation. Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures. Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards. Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards. Sweep and mop kitchen floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards. Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces. Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Help load and unload supplies and products. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time. Experience in the food service industry preferred. Ability to read and write the English language. Ability to lift 25 pounds repeatedly. Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends. Must pass a Fit for Work screening. Eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
