Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Location: Sierra Vista, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Job Description: The Registered Nurse will support a growing Interventional Radiology program with expanding procedural capabilities, providing pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care. The position requires a candidate who can work independently while collaborating closely with physicians, technologists, and support staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after interventional procedures.
• Administer and monitor conscious/moderate sedation.
• Assist with the development of new IR service lines and advanced procedures.
• Utilize equipment such as Masimo monitoring systems and ultrasound guidance equipment.
• Perform various interventional radiology procedures, including biopsies, drain placements, and venous access procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN License (Arizona or compact state license).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 5 years of critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with conscious/moderate sedation administration and monitoring.
• Strong IV access and patient assessment skills.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and procedural workflows.
