Fiber Quality Lab Technician The FQLT will work in the fiber quality lab and wood yard and perform the following tasks: Collect and test wood chip samples for thickness, length, bark content, and moisture content Perform routine cleaning and calibration of chip classifier Assist the technical and forestry departments as needed May be required to travel offsite to assist in sample collection This position is scheduled for 40 hours per week across five days, with flexibility to work additional overtime hours as business needs require. Qualifications Ability to climb conveyors, stairs and vertical ladders. Ability to lift and carry loads up to 50 lbs. Ability to work outdoors and in hot environments. Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) May be required to work overtime. Position Requirements (1) Minimum of high school diploma or GED required, 2-year degree or higher preferred
