General Counsel

General Counsel serves as the primary legal advisor to executive leadership, branch management, service teams, and field personnel on construction law and operational issues. Key Job Duties: • Support company objectives by collaborating across departments-Contracts/Risk Management,Operations, Accounting, IT, HR, and Project Management • Review and negotiate upstream construction contracts with general contractors, downstream subcontracts and purchase orders and NDAs • Oversee monthly filing of lien and bond claim preservation notices • Facilitate Parent Company's review and approval of real estate transactions, parent guarantees and quarterly Representations • Oversee and monitor pending disputes including litigation, claims, arbitrations, and mediations and coordinate with Parent company counsel and outside counsel • Educate staff on legal topics, compliance updates, and legislative/regulatory developments We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
