Psycho Social Therapies, a leading mental health agency specializing in long-term care, is actively seeking a full-time/part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Columbus, Ohio area and its environs. Our mission is to meet the growing psychiatric service needs of residents in long-term care facilities. As a skilled professional, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to design, implement, and assess treatment plans. Your responsibilities will include providing psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and medication management for residents. As part of your role, you'll make regular visits to designated long-term care facilities in the Columbus area, while also traveling across Ohio to provide coverage for other providers when necessary. Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and medication management for residents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to design, implement, and assess treatment plans.
• Regularly visit assigned long-term care facilities in the Columbus area.
• Travel throughout Ohio to fill in for other providers as needed.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in accordance with the state of Ohio.
• Hold a degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at the level needed to assess and prescribe medication collaboratively with a psychiatrist as determined by the State Board of Nursing.
• Board Certified.
• Psychiatric experience required.
• Geriatric experience preferred.
• Active DEA required.
