ESD is one of 6 divisions under the Department for Children and Families (DCF) which is one of the largest departments (1000 employees) within the largest agency (Agency of Human Services) in the state of Vermont. The Role: The Administrative Services Technician's primary role is to provide quality customer services to clients both in-person and over the phone and support the administrative functions of the office. AHS BACKGROUND CHECKS: Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position. Minimum Qualifications High school graduation or equivalent and one (1) year of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization. OR One (1) year of College level study in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field. OR One (1) year as an Administrative Services Technician III with the State of Vermont. Special Requirements For some positions experience working with the VISION system (VISION is the State of Vermont PeopleSoft financial management system) may be required.
