Schedule

Shifts may vary, starting at either 07:00 or 09:00. Weekend coverage and potential night shifts required. Call distributed every 6 weeks, with up to 6-8 call shifts in a 6-week period.

Assignment Details

Start date: ASAP; orientation consists of 40 hours. One request for time off is allowed at time of submittal. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• Compact license must be in hand at submission
• Minimum of 1 year experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases
• Previous experience with Epic EMR system is required
• Experience handling trauma surgeries and various surgical procedures including total joint replacements, spine procedures, vascular bypasses, and laparoscopic/robotic cases

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure quality patient care
• Monitor patients' vitals and assist with anesthesia during surgeries
• Maintain aseptic technique and manage sterile field
• Administer medications and support post-anesthesia care as needed
