Requirements MaineHealth has a new Locum Request for an Endocrinologist at MHMMC – Portland’s Endocrinology and Diabetes Center in Scarborough SUMMARY OF WORK: · Ambulatory outpatient clinic. · Physician would be seeing endocrinology and diabetes patients including hospital discharge new patients and follow up visits. · Locum role open and contract would be for 6 months with the opportunity for 1 year pending recruiting efforts for full time positions and locum performance. CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS: · Would be expected to see 16-20 patients/day 4 days per week. · Volume is dependent on an 8 or 10 hour shift. · Thyroid FNA ability would be welcomed but not required. · Currently have 11 Physicians and 4 APPs. SCHEDULE: · Full time- Monday Tuesday Wednesday Friday for 4 10s- We can be flexible with 4 10s or 5 8s. · No call · No weekends ABOUT THE SITE: MaineHealth Endocrinology and Diabetes in Scarborough provides specialized endocrinology care comprehensive diabetes management patient education and technology support for individuals with complex endocrine and metabolic conditions while serving as a regional hub for diabetes services across MaineHealth. We have onsite Certified Diabetes Educators to meet with patients and help educate them to more well controlled diabetes. Providing pump education and dietary guidelines to assist with living with diabetes they also provide teaching for pump starts and guiding patients in what insulin pathway is right for them. RATE STRUCTURE: Please include: submit at best rate Orientation Hourly Holiday OT: Conversion Fee: 25k rate cap- Verbiage on all presentations and CLs: max conversion fee but fee will vary depending on hours worked as outlined in CSE TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Flight - No first-class flights. Hotel - 200/night lodging cap after taxes and fees Rental Car - Standard rental car no premium/SUV etc. rentals. Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate



Schedule Days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday for 4 10s (would be willing to discuss 5-8s Monday-Friday)
