John Brothers Wood Products Cleaning Associate

Position Summary

John Brothers Wood Products is seeking a dependable and hardworking Cleaning Associate to help maintain a clean,
safe, and organized work environment throughout our facility. Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms, offices,
break rooms, hallways, and other work areas while following company safety standards and procedures.

This position will initially be part-time, with the potential to transition into a full-time role in the future.

Primary Responsibilities
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
• Clean offices, desks, windows, doors, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly
• Clean break rooms and maintain kitchen/break areas
• Dust furniture, equipment, and fixtures
• Maintain cleanliness in hallways, entrances, and other assigned areas
• Follow all safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Notify management of maintenance or repair needs
• Perform additional cleaning or facility-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, kneel, twist, and reach throughout the workday
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and supplies safely
• Must be capable of performing repetitive physical tasks in an industrial environment

Work Environment

This position works in a manufacturing and office environment. Exposure to dust, noise, cleaning chemicals, and
varying temperatures may occur.
