Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take customer orders accurately in person or through the restaurant's ordering system.
- Process cash, credit/debit card, and other payments accurately.
- Answer customer questions about menu items, prices, and available options.
- Assemble and serve customer orders according to restaurant standards.
- Check orders for accuracy and ensure customers receive the correct items.
- Maintain a clean and organized front counter, dining area, and customer-service areas.
- Restock cups, napkins, utensils, condiments, and other front-of-house supplies.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.
- Work cooperatively with kitchen staff and other team members to keep orders moving efficiently.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and other restaurant duties as assigned.
