As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a school location, helping to maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $20.25 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
