Retail Supervisor

You will lead by example and help shape the customer experience while supporting day-to-day store operations and coaching the team toward success. You will act as a key ambassador for the Hestra brand, ensuring that every guest interaction is warm, informative, and aligned with our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and adventure. What You’ll Do Lead the Customer Experience Set the Tone: Help lead the team in delivering exceptional guest service through authentic connections, expert product knowledge, and enthusiasm for outdoor life. Model Best Practices: Demonstrate how to engage customers with thoughtful questions, personalized recommendations, and in-depth storytelling that highlights our brand values. Problem Solve in Real Time: Support team members in handling guest concerns or unique requests, ensuring resolution is efficient and brand-appropriate. Support Team Growth: Assist in training new associates and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to develop product knowledge, service skills, and confidence. Foster a Positive Culture: Encourage teamwork, inclusivity, and accountability to maintain a supportive, high-energy store environment. Lead by Example: Uphold company policies, operational procedures, and brand standards, setting the bar for professionalism and excellence. Store Operations & Oversight Daily Operations: Help oversee store opening/closing, POS procedures, and ensure operational processes are followed. Visual Merchandising & Inventory: Ensure product displays are well-stocked, visually appealing, and aligned with brand guidelines. Assist with inventory counts and restocking. Drive Efficiency: Monitor floor coverage and workflow to ensure the team is operating effectively and customers receive timely, high-quality service. Be a Brand Champion Represent Hestra: Share our heritage, craftsmanship, and commitment to sustainability with customers and team members alike. Promote Mission & Values: Help integrate our values of quality, innovation, and outdoor adventure into everyday operations and interactions. Inspire Exploration: Encourage both customers and staff to engage with the outdoors and explore new possibilities through our premium products. What You Bring Leadership Skills: Previous retail experience with 1+ years in a leadership, key holder, or supervisory role preferred. Strong Communication: Clear and confident communication style with the ability to inspire, train, and lead a team. Customer-Focused: Deep appreciation for excellent service and a talent for building lasting relationships with diverse customers. Energetic & Engaged: High level of enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and team support. Organized & Responsible: Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain store standards, and ensure compliance with operational procedures. Flexible Availability: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by store needs.
