Your voice matters here—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.As the General Manager, you are directly responsible for the overall growth and financial profitability of the hotel through revenue management, cost control, guest satisfaction and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment for team members. Ensures the integrity of the hotel assets by managing preventative maintenance programs and inspections of all areas of the property.What Your Day Will Look LikeApproach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented mannerDrive organizational excellence in operations and customer serviceOversee performance measurements to ensure the property operates within approved budgets and is competitive in its respective competitive setProduce monthly financial reports to be presented to Geronimo Hospitality Director of Lodging and VP of LodgingCreate the hotel's annual budget and monitor the performance of the hotel throughout the yearMaintain positive and efficient work environmentHire, develop and train associates to ensure guest satisfaction and company cultureEnsure the cleanliness and safety of the hotel and its assets through the enforcing and maintaining of preventative maintenance programsMust be able to multi-taskWillingness to assist all hotel departments as neededWillingness to work with other tenants in the property to ensure an enjoyable experience for guests throughout the physical property, including leased spaces (i.e. restaurants)Will perform such duties, or assignments, as from time to time may be assigned by the President/CEO, COO, VP of Lodging, Director of Lodging or Management Team of Geronimo Hospitality and Hendricks Commercial Properties.RequirementsWhat It Takes To SucceedEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration or equivalent of education and work experienceExperience and/or Training: Minimum 5 years hotel experience with minimum of 2 years as a rooms department head or general manager.Technology/Equipment: Computer skills including Microsoft OfficeYou'll Stand Out If You BringEducation: College degree preferredExperience and/or Training: General Manager experience preferred; new hotel opening experience preferredTechnology/Equipment: Knowledge of Opera PMS and Travelclick/iHotelier preferredMandatory RequirementU.S. Work Authorization (required).Join a team that makes an impression.
