The Role The primary duty of the Dental Assistant II is to assist in the overall delivery of care and to be an integral part of the patient care team by consistently delivering the most memorable and fun service experience possible for every patient, every day in every office. Title: Dental Assistant II Reports To: Practice Manager Position Status: Full-time-Hourly, Non-exempt Pay Range: $19-22/hour Location: Brentwood The Essential Job Elements Prepare office with daily opening and closing duties Prepare treatment area for patients by following procedures and protocols Prepare patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting and seating patient Assist the doctors during treatment procedures Perform dental infection control procedures Take x-rays Perform cleanings Perform all lab related procedures Hand off patient at check-out Complete care calls and thank you cards Assist in managing and controlling supply inventory Document dental care services by charting in patient records Maintain strict compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, Dental Board, etc…) Maintain safe and clean working environment Other duties as assigned The Schedule The Brentwood office is closed on Mondays, and open Tuesday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm and Saturdays by appointment). This position may require working Saturdays. Specific shifts will be based on the needs and operating hours of the practice.
