CT Technologist (PRN)

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and providing a supportive patient experience at Cobb Hospital. They work independently to operate imaging/radiographic equipment, ensuring diagnostic images meet quality standards while minimizing radiation dose. Key duties include preparing patients, explaining procedures, obtaining clinical history, administering contrast, positioning patients, reviewing images, and documenting results accurately in RIS/PACS. They also maintain equipment, uphold infection control protocols, and support department workflow and compliance. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 1 year of radiology experience, ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS certifications. Skills Technical proficiency in imaging procedures, patient communication, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and teamwork skills.
