Construction Scheduler

Muter Construction is seeking a Construction Scheduler to join our growing team. This position assists project teams in developing and maintaining Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules across all phases of construction. This role provides scheduling support and technical expertise to help project teams keep work on track, working collaboratively across multiple projects, providing consistency in scheduling tools, methodology and reporting. The position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment. Duties: Support project managers and superintendents in building baseline construction schedules. Assist in translating project team input (sequencing, means and methods, trade coordination) into a workable schedule. Update schedules on a regular basis, based on field progress. Collaborate to identify potential delays or critical path impacts and flag them for resolution. Assist with incorporating change order impacts into the schedule. Support documentation for delay analysis or claims, as directed by project team. Maintain consistent scheduling standards, templates and historical data across project teams. Daily collaboration with Field Staff Ability to travel to jobsites on a weekly basis. Qualifications: Ten - 15 years of of related experience in commercial construction Extensive experience with construction scheduling software Valid NC Drivers License Education: High school degree or an equivalent combination of training and work experience Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office or related software MS Project Procore (preferred) Technical Skills: Experience with actionable schedules to ensure on-time project delivery Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) systems Thorough knowledge of drawings and specifications for project Demonstrated understanding of phases of construction projects Ability to perform work in a timely, efficient and professional manner Ability to work within Muter Construction policies and adhere to safety policies set forth by company standards, local and federal regulations Personal Skills: Ability to collaborate and work with owners, architects, subcontractors and end-users Strong people management skills with an emphasis on communication and problem solving, excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of integrity and professionalism at all times Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of project and construction activities Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems Equal Opportunity Statement Muter Construction is an equal opportunity employer.
