About the Role
Our client, a leading energy utility, is looking for an Associate Dispatcher to keep its field operations running smoothly. You'll be the central link between customer service, field technicians, and customers, making sure every work order gets to the right person at the right time. When emergencies happen, you'll also serve as a key point of contact with customers and state and local government agencies. - Field incoming calls and make call-ahead requests on behalf of field technicians.
- Coordinate daily operational needs with internal teams and external partners.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts between the call center, customers, and supervisors to reach the best outcome.
- Act as liaison between the company, customers, and state and local government agencies during emergencies.
Qualifications

- At least 1 year of experience with SAP or a mobile data dispatching system
- At least 1 year of experience in or supporting gas distribution operations, or at least 1 year of equivalent dispatching experience
What Sets You Apart
- Steady under pressure. You stay poised, make sound decisions, and handle conflict professionally, even in tense situations.
- Customer-focused. You own the quality of your service and reprioritize quickly as demands change.
- Collaborative communicator. You share information proactively, listen actively, and keep relationships strong across teams.
- Results-driven. You manage your time well, use technology to work efficiently, and look for ways to improve processes and control costs.
- Big-picture thinker. You understand how your daily work affects the wider organization and its bottom line.
