Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant OpportunityMinnesota Oral and Facial Surgery is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated team.Minnesota Oral and Facial Surgery is a surgical practice that is driven by delivering the highest quality and compassionate surgical care to its patients. Minnesota Oral and Facial Surgery is centered upon caring, lasting relationships with patients and their families.Qualifications:Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Minnesota.Certification by the appropriate national certifying body (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA).Previous experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, or a surgical specialty preferred.Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel to satellite offices.New and experienced graduates welcome to applyKey Responsibilities:Pre-Operative Assessment and Preparation: Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.Order and interpret diagnostic testsEducate patients and their families about surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and post-operative care.Surgical Assistance: Assist surgeons during proceduresPost-Operative Care: Provide immediate post-operative care and including wound managementPatient Management and Education: Counsel patients on pre- and post-operative instructionsCollaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with surgeonsWork collaboratively with another Nurse Practitioner.Travel to Satellite Offices: Periodic travel to our satellite officesBe available for shared on-call duties during weekends and evenings as needed.
