Neonatologist

Neonatologist Position at Mercy Children's Hospital

We are seeking a tenth neonatologist to join our progressive, growing neonatal practice at Mercy Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities include:

• Team approach toward care in a 100-bed, Level-IV NICU
• Average daily census of 90, with 1,500 admissions and more than 10,000 deliveries annually
• Neonatologists and NNPs provide 24-hour, in-house care
• Challenging clinical environment including conventional and high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide and whole body cooling
• Close collaboration with pediatric sub-specialists, including pediatric surgery, in a suburban Children's Hospital environment
• Long time members of the Vermont-Oxford network with continuous involvement in QI initiatives
• Neonatal services at two nearby Level-II NICUs with NNPs in-house 24 hours and neonatologists taking call from home
