Processing Technician

Processing TechnicianThe Processing Technician is responsible for making cannabis products with speed, quality, and accuracy, while adhering to the companies standards for manufacturing, in addition to meeting industry compliance requirements. Processing Techs are an important part of the seed-to-sale chain of production and act as the bridge from garden to store, ensuring the delivery of the highest quality finished products the company can provide.Key Responsibilities:Has basic knowledge about cannabisAbility to work well in a fast paced, and rapidly changing environmentAssist with pre-processing, post-processing, and packaging functions while maintaining detailed laboratory recordsFollow standard operating proceduresFollow proper equipment use and safety policyFollow lab safety plan/manual and SDS manualMaintain laboratory equipment and utensils in sanitary, safe, and organized mannerMaintain and update chemical and other ingredient inventoriesEnsure that the laboratory operates compliantly at all timesCleaning and maintenance of lab and extraction equipmentPerforming clerical work as it pertains to concentrate labAll other job duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or GED preferred.Experience in any relevant trades, including horticulture, food handling, etc.Must be at least 21 years of age to work within the OH MMCPAbility to pass a criminal background check.Attention to detail and a quick eyeAbility to sit for 8 hours per dayPhysical and Environmental Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Ability to work up to 10 hours a day and rotating shiftsAbility to accurately perform the functions within the processing lab as directed by the Processing Operations Manager and Director of Processing.Ability to bend/stoop/kneel/reach up to 90% of the workdayAbility to climb a ladderFlexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidaysAbility to lift, push, and pull 75 poundsAbility to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workdayAbility to stand for extended periods of timeExtended computer usageComfortable being under constant video surveillanceWork environments that include exposure to, but not limited to fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise.Management reserves the right to assign other job duties as necessary, with or without notice.
