Data Administrator/Database Administrator

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CST

Duration: 7 months

Location: 665 Mainstream Dr, Nashville, TN 37243

Work Model: In-person, with potential for hybrid work after training

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Field Identification, Mapping & Documentation Identify, validate, and document all existing fields in the LARS legacy system.
\n
• Analyze field relationships, dependencies, and usage across extracts, correspondence, certificates, and API data feeds.
\n
• Update data mapping documentation when inconsistencies or gaps are identified.
\n
• Maintain a centralized data dictionary for agency-wide reference.
\n
• 2. Data Integrity & Quality Review Perform recurring SQL-driven data profiling, validation checks, and trend analyses.
\n
• Identify data anomalies and quality concerns, document findings, and escalate issues as needed.
\n
• Track recurring issues and systemic data risks, and recommend improvements or governance standards.
\n
• Collaborate with business units to validate data usage and improve data entry practices.
\n
• 3. Ticket & Reporting Support Respond to help desk and ServiceNow ticket requests within established timelines.
\n
• Write and execute SQL queries to deliver accurate reporting outputs.
\n
• Ensure all requested data is validated and results are clearly documented.
\n
• Store completed reports and SQL scripts in the designated repository.
\n
• 4. Modernization Project Support Participate in vendor meetings and represent legacy system data requirements.
\n
• Review vendor mapping documents and validate the accuracy of source-to-target field mappings.
\n
• Support data migration cycles through profiling, validation, issue resolution, and testing.
\n
• Contribute to new system architecture, dashboards, reports, and long-term data governance frameworks.
\n
• Required Skills & Qualifications Advanced SQL skills for querying, data profiling, and data integrity validation.
\n
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and data modeling.
\n
• Experience with data mapping and documentation.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and multiple workstreams.
\n
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
\n
