Job Title: Sterile Processing Technologist Job Summary The Sterile Processing Technologist is responsible for the decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of medical equipment and instruments used in healthcare facilities. They play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of patients by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sterility. Responsibilities and Duties Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment Operate sterilization equipment in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance Stock and distribute supplies to various departments within the facility Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient instrument processing Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT) or Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) preferred Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively #J-18808-Ljbffr ANCESTOR HEALTH
