They work with various tools and perform tasks such as electrical and plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, and equipment inspections.ResponsibilitiesPerforming routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and diagnose problemsPerforming electrical repairs and maintenancePerforming plumbing repairs and maintenancePerforming HVAC maintenance and repairsPerforming carpentry work on buildings and equipment as requiredPerforming handyman servicesEnsuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained according to safety regulations and standardsWorking ConditionsFacility Technicians work in various settings, including offices, manufacturing facilities, and warehouses and other businesses. They may work indoors or outdoors, and may be required to work in confined spaces or at heights.
