Business Systems Analyst
We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to support cross-functional initiatives by providing data-driven insights and fostering collaboration across departments. This role requires strong experience in ad hoc reporting using SQL and Power BI, along with excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders across business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain ad hoc reports and dashboards using SQL and Power BI to support business decisions.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for operational improvements.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings, providing subject matter expertise and data insights.
- Document business processes, data flows, and system interactions as needed.
- Support project planning and delivery by contributing to business cases, testing, and user training.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Power BI for reporting and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to work across diverse teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in documenting requirements, creating process maps, and supporting UAT.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Agile environments or working with product teams.
Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or financial platforms.
