Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience
• Current Indiana RN License
• BLS (AHA only)
• NRP

Unit Details

• Level III NICU
• 31-bed unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
• Traveler may float to age-appropriate Peds/PICU units

Technology

• EPIC Charting
• Pyxis Medication Administration

Orientation

• Orientation consists of:
  • Week 1: Monday–Friday (8-hour days)
  • Week 2: Monday–Tuesday (8-hour days)
• Mandatory attendance required for all 7 orientation days
• Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
• Clinicians returning within 12 months of their last worked date are not eligible for non-billable orientation
