Checker/Loader
Location: Waukesha WI
Type: Contract
Shift: 2nd shift 4pm -12am or 6pm -2am
Schedule: Sunday - Friday, Off on Tuesday & Saturday
Pay: $25/hr
Responsibilities
- Move and organize stacks of product throughout the distribution area.
- Use pick-to-light programs or voice-activated equipment to accurately select and fill route orders.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Follow all food safety, food quality, and SQF procedures and requirements.
- Immediately report and take appropriate action regarding any food safety or quality concerns.
- Follow procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan, and other programs supporting SQF and third-party audit requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stack and carry trays and push or pull stacks of product.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding distribution environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and quality procedures.
