Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Working with a manageable caseload and a close-knit team, you’ll play a key role in helping students from preK through high school reach their full potential. This part-time position begins August 3rd, with services provided two days each week across two nearby school sites, allowing you to efficiently serve your students without extensive travel.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Physical Therapy license in Mississippi
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other therapists
• Commitment to individualized, student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to a caseload of approximately 10 students
• Implement and update IEP goals with measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support students’ educational access and participation
• Provide assessment, intervention, and progress reporting as required
• Travel between two conveniently located school sites with support from on-site teams
• Educate staff, caregivers, and family members on strategies to support students’ physical development
