SUMMARY: The Sales Tax Accountant is responsible for multi-state sales and use tax filings for several corporations. This is a fast-paced position for someone who can manage various deadlines. SCHEDULE This is a full-time onsite position at our Dallas Headquarters BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Vision coverage Paid time off 401k savings plans Onsite gym with access to a personal trainer COMPENSATION: Commensurate based on experience. LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane DETAILS: Prepare and file monthly and quarterly high volume, multi-state sales and use tax returns Process sales tax remittances Assist with sales tax research questions Follow up on any notices received from tax authorities Provide support for all sales tax audits Maintain reconciliation of sales tax accounts to general ledger Assist with other tax duties and projects Assist with implementation of new tax software EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 1- 3 years progressive multi-state sales tax experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Advanced Excel skills Experience with tax software Avalara is a plus.
