Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its new building and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring the highest standards of care and service for the elderly residents. This includes managing staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment. The Executive Director will also be involved in budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning to support the long-term success of the community. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a minimum of two years of college education and at least three years of experience in residential care for the elderly, or equivalent. A valid California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Certification or Licensed Nursing Home Executive Director is required. The ideal candidate will have a background in supervising and managing employees, be proficient in MS Office, and have knowledge of assisted living and dementia care. The role demands the ability to work with seniors, interact patiently with cognitively impaired individuals, and make decisions in stressful situations. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to the health and safety of residents and team members are essential.
