Come be part of something truly special!Position DetailsJob Title: Medical Technician - Regenerative MedicineStatus: This is a full-time, year-round, benefits eligible position; If you're interested in a part-time role, please feel free to apply as we'd love to discuss your availability.Classification: Non-Exempt - HourlyLocation: Vail, CO - this role requires you to be onsite and may require travel to our other clinic locationsSchedule: Monday - Friday; shift dependent on business needsPay Range: The entry pay for this position is $22.00/hour and is dependent on experience.On the job training: ProvidedPosition OverviewThe Medical Technician (a.k.a Regenerative Medicine Technician) plays an integral role in the innovative patient care that The Steadman Clinic Physicians provide to their patients. The Technician will be responsible for interacting with the patients to collect their blood once a physician has determined that a regenerative medicine product such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) or Bone Marrow Concentrate (BMC) would be beneficial to a patient. Also responsible for following standardized laboratory protocols to process the blood into the requested product and deliver the product to the physician in the clinic or in the operating room. This is a position that requires attention to detail and critical thinking skills. No experience is necessary, just a desire to learn! We will train you!Core ResponsibilitiesPerform venipuncture and process blood or bone marrow into necessary components following written SOPs.Ensure that all patient documentation is collected and up to date according to clinical protocols.Maintain laboratory instrumentation and devices according to established protocols.Ensure confidentiality of all medical, financial, or other sensitive materials and maintain the privacy of patients.Monitor and maintain inventory.Performs other related duties as assigned.RequirementsMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma required.Prior phlebotomy experience is preferred; however, on-the-job training is available for those without experience.Laboratory experience preferred.EMT certification preferred.IV administration experience preferred but not required.Knowledge and understanding of patient privacy rights preferred.Training available.Employee Benefits:Health, Dental and Vision Insurance with generous premium subsidies for you and your family.401(k) Retirement with a Safe Harbor contribution amount equal to 4% of eligible compensation and discretionary profit-sharing contribution.Paid Holidays, PTO & STO!
