Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days (Monday-Friday), 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, plus afternoon weekend and holiday call, includes EP rotation. 30-minute response time required.

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Technician is responsible and accountable for performing studies timely, under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Ensure studies are performed timely and accurately under supervision.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and critical thinking.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• RCIS or ARRT/FL license required.
• Exceptional previous travel attendance records demonstrating reliability.
• AHCA requirements for all CHS FL placements must be met.
