Location: Myerstown, PA
Status: PRN
Rate: $15.00/hour
Schedule: Shifts will vary (Day and Evening) | Every Other Weekend (EOW) | Every Other Holiday (EOH)
Position Overview
Seeking a dependable and team-oriented Dietary Assistant to support our dietary department. This role is essential in ensuring residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals prepared and served in accordance with established policies, procedures, and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with meal service and ensure timely and accurate delivery of food trays.
- Support the cook with food preparation and portioning as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of worktables, refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen equipment.
- Transport food trays to and from dining areas and dishwashing stations.
- Follow infection control and food safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior dietary or food service experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
