Senior Process EngineerWe're partnering with an established food ingredients manufacturing company to find a Senior Process Engineer who is passionate about driving operational excellence through process optimization and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives that improve throughput, reduce costs, and support capital projects in a collaborative manufacturing environment with strong work-life balance and growth potential.What You'll DoLead process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and plant performance.Identify and execute cost savings and productivity improvement projects using process and operational data.Support the design, review, and implementation of capital projects.Lead cross-functional process improvement and Operational Excellence/Kaizen initiatives.Develop and maintain process engineering documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, and mass and energy balances.Support HAZOP, Process Safety Management (PSM), Management of Change (MOC), and risk assessments.Provide technical leadership during equipment startups, troubleshooting, and process investigations.Mentor engineers and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.5-8+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (senior-level candidates encouraged to apply).Proven experience leading chemical process optimization and process improvement projects that deliver measurable savings.Experience supporting engineering design reviews and capital projects.Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.Experience in industries such as chemical, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, paper, or oil & gas is highly preferred.Knowledge of PSM, HAZOP, utilities, or wastewater systems is a plus.What We OfferBase salary: $90,000-$135,000Annual performance bonus (target 15%)Relocation assistance available20 days PTO plus floating holidays401(k) with company matchComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefitsFlexible work environment with occasional work-from-home flexibility for personal appointmentsMonday-Friday schedule with the option for half-day Fridays on a compressed work scheduleIf you're an experienced Process Engineer looking to lead meaningful improvement projects and make a measurable impact in a growing manufacturing operation, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today or reach out for a confidential conversation to learn more about this opportunity.
