Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Shipping Manager in the Chino area to run daily shipping operations, lead logistics staff, and get material to mechanical fabrication and HVAC jobs on time and accurate.
Impact

- Turn shipping into a measured, improving operation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee outbound shipments: packaging, loading, and delivery coordination.
- Supervise drivers and warehouse staff, and set daily schedules and routes.
- Prioritize time-sensitive jobs with the shop and project managers.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Monitor fleet performance and basic DOT compliance.
- Track on-time delivery, accuracy, and load productivity.
- Resolve delivery issues in real time with field teams.
- Enforce safety in all shipping and loading work and train new staff.
Must-Haves
- Five or more years in shipping, dispatch, or transportation within construction, fabrication, or warehousing.
- A record of managing daily deliveries and small teams.
- Familiarity with DOT compliance and driver documentation.
- Proficiency with scheduling, inventory systems, and Excel.
Nice-to-Haves
- HVAC, sheet metal, or mechanical construction background.
- Forklift certification.
Compensation and Logistics
Competitive salary depending on experience, plus benefits. Full-time, onsite in Chino.
