Title Assistant

Title Assistant First American is looking to add a Title Assistant to our growing team in Yakima, WA. In this role, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting supporting our Title team in a wide range of administrative duties including creating and maintaining title files, documenting all research, and auditing calculations and legal documents. This position plays a key role in coordinating the resolution and completion of the title process. This role is in office 5 x week. HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE Performs a wide range of administrative duties that require experience, skill and knowledge of title policies and practices. Creates and maintains files, records and reports; monitor and track workflow Responds to inquiries and gathers information to resolve issues and complete the title process. Communicates information and prepares documentation and reports Communicates with internal and external groups Other duties as assigned WHAT YOU'LL BRING Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure High School diploma or equivalent 2+ years title industry experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs) Experience with MS Office suite Excellent verbal/written communication skills Able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times Strong detail orientation Customer service orientation Exercises good judgment Working knowledge of company and/or client operating systems Pay Range: $18.46 - $24.63 Hourly This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
