Sr. Payroll Specialist - West Palm Beach, FL

• West Palm Beach, FL (100% On-Site)
• $26-$30/hour DOE
• Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Payroll Specialist to join a growing payroll team. This position will serve as a key backup to the Payroll Manager while supporting payroll operations and a major Oracle Fusion implementation. Responsibilities

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Calculate payroll taxes, deductions, garnishments, and adjustments
• Support payroll reporting, reconciliations, and General Ledger activities
• Review payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accuracy
• Assist with Oracle Fusion implementation, testing, and process improvements
• Partner with accounting and leadership teams on payroll-related matters
• Recommend efficiencies and improvements to payroll processes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle payroll experience
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, compliance, and regulations
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Experience supporting payroll reporting and accounting functions
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience processing payroll for 500+ employees strongly preferred
• Certified Payroll experience preferred
• Multi-state payroll experience preferred
• Oracle Fusion experience is a plus
