Psychometrist

Mosaic is hiring an Psychometrist to support our autism diagnostic services team. The Psychometrist works directly with parents and their children throughout the assessment process which includes providing the ADOS-2 and other relevant autism assessments within Mosaic clinics. The Psychometrist works closely with our psychologists to assess and offer insights into each child's unique needs. This role will support our Raleigh and Piedmont clinics, so travel between the two regions will be required. Responsibilities Administering ADOS-2, ASRS, CARS 2 and other assessments to individuals of varying ages and developmental levels. Building and maintaining therapeutic relationships with families and their children to ensure a positive and safe clinical experience. This includes meeting with families at a Mosaic clinic, explaining the assessment process, alleviating fears, answering questions, and providing a supportive environment. Scoring assessments accurately according to standardized protocols and writing up results in a clear, concise, objective and professional manner. Collaborating with clinicians and psychologists to interpret assessment results through follow up emails and phone calls. Maintaining detailed records of assessments and outcomes by uploading them into Central Reach, Mosaic’s client health information platform. Staying current with updates to diagnostic protocols and best practices by completing ongoing trainings, as required. Attending monthly supervision with psychologists and implementing clinical feedback. Traveling between multiple clinics to support assessment needs. Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while managing high volume of deliverables which may often times create conflict deadlines. Ability to effectively communicate through written reports. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Masters degree or higher in one of the following: Psychology, School Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Social Work, Education, Special Education, or a related field Prior experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
