Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab Experience required Recent acute care experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district required Certifications: NIHSS certification required BLS certification required ACLS certification required Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired Must live at least 100 miles away from the facility Description: The cath lab team performs emergency and elective angioplasty. They provide various therapies such as drug-eluting stents, electrophysiology, and pacemaker implantation. The role fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community. Registered Nurses perform a variety of patient care functions and tasks. This is done in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
