Tax Accountant (HNW)

Our client is a boutique advisory firm with offices in the tristate area specializing in wealth management, financial advisory and tax/accounting services. This is a FULLY REMOTE tax preparer role. Responsibilities Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts. Identify and implement basic tax planning strategies to help clients minimize liabilities. Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax information and address other inquiries. Research tax issues and stay informed on basic changes to tax legislation and regulations. Ensure timely filing of tax returns and adherence to quality standards. Assist clients with responding to tax notices and basic audit inquiries. Provide excellent client service through clear communication and responsiveness Qualifications 2+ year of experience in tax planning, preparation, and advisory services within public accounting or financial advisory firms. Advanced proficiency with accounting software (e.g., UltraTax, Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, tax preparation platforms). Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
