Lead Field Service Technician - Fire Alarm Systems

As a Fire Alarms Systems - Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide high-level technical support and service to our customers, ensuring the optimal performance of Honeywell products and systems. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, perform maintenance and repairs, and provide training and guidance to customers and junior technicians. Your expertise and dedication will drive customer satisfaction and contribute to the success of our service operations. You will report directly to our Sr Field Service Manager , and you'll work out of our Acton, MA location on an Onsite work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our service operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the growth of our business by ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES System Testing & Inspections: Perform periodic tests and yearly NFPA fire alarm inspections to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety regulations. Diagnosis & Repair: Use tools like multimeters and hand tools to troubleshoot and resolve faults in fire alarm components, including smoke detectors, pull stations, and notification devices. System Programming: Program various fire alarm control panels (FACPs) and integrated systems like EBI (Enterprise Buildings Integrator), ensuring they adhere to specific site plans and contract requirements. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all inspections, tests, and service actions. Technical Guidance: Train customers on system operation and mentor junior technicians in fire safety standards and troubleshooting techniques.
