Location: Greenville, SC 29601
Pay: $1,700 to $1,800 per week
Home Time: Every 7–14 days with a 34–48 hour reset
Freight: Flatbed

Practical freight movement and route stability give experienced CDL-A drivers consistent flatbed work with a regular home-time schedule.

Rouse Trucking is hiring flatbed drivers to move pipe, building materials, coils, and similar freight. Drivers primarily operate east of I-35, with both loaded and empty miles paid.

The Work:

Flatbed experience is an important part of this position.

• Tarping required on approximately 3 out of 5 loads

• Load securement is part of the regular work

• Additional $30 on every load, whether tarping is required or not

Earnings:

• 70 CPM with loaded and empty miles paid

• Weekly earnings of $1,700 to $1,800

• Additional $30 paid on every load

• $5,000 sign-on bonus for solo drivers

Schedule:

Drivers are home every 7–14 days for a 34–48 hour reset. Established freight lanes and regional scheduling provide a practical balance between productive time on the road and regular home time.

Assigned Equipment:

• Assigned 2020 through 2025 Peterbilt 567 and 579 tractors

• Automatic and manual transmission options available

• 2024 48-foot spread-axle flatbed trailers

• Trucks governed at 70 MPH

Drivers can take their assigned truck home when they have a safe place to park it. Regular maintenance helps support dependable operation and reduce downtime.

Getting Started:

Transition pay is provided during the first few weeks as drivers become familiar with routes, scheduling, and dispatch operations.

Rider & Pet Options:

One pet is allowed. There are no breed or weight restrictions, and cats are allowed.

Drivers may also bring one passenger with the required liability form. The passenger must be at least 10 years old.

CDL-A Qualifications:

• Valid CDL-A license

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years

• Minimum of 6 months of flatbed experience

• Tarping and load securement experience
