Role Description The Health Services Administrator is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Lakeport, CA, responsible for overseeing daily operations of healthcare services within the facility. This role manages clinical and administrative staff scheduling, coordinates patient access to medical and mental health services, and ensures adherence to company policies, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards. The Health Services Administrator monitors performance metrics, supports quality improvement initiatives, and collaborates with clinical leaders to maintain safe, efficient, and patient‑centered care delivery. Additional responsibilities include budgeting and resource allocation, managing vendor relationships, preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders, and addressing operational issues as they arise. The position requires regular collaboration with facility leadership and correctional partners to align healthcare services with security protocols while maintaining a therapeutic environment. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in healthcare administration, health services management, or a related leadership role in a clinical setting. Knowledge of regulatory standards, compliance requirements, and quality improvement practices in healthcare, ideally in correctional or institutional environments. Strong skills in staff supervision, team coordination, and performance management, with the ability to foster a collaborative and respectful workplace. Proficiency in budgeting, resource planning, and operational oversight, including data‑driven decision‑making and report preparation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and external partners. Ability to work effectively in a secure, on‑site environment and to navigate the unique challenges of serving vulnerable populations. Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
