PRN Advanced Practice Provider Surgical House/Trauma

Overview Seeking an experienced PRN Advanced Practice Provider to join our Surgical House/Trauma team at Elyria Medical Center. The schedule is PRN rotating day, night, weekends and holidays. APP experience required and acute care experience preferred. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Education Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required) (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required) Work Experience 1+ years as an Advanced Practice Provider required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency) Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. (Required proficiency) Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. (Required proficiency) Licenses and Certifications Physician Assistant (PA) (Required) and Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred) Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (Required) and Practice with a supervising physician (Required Upon Hire) and Maintain national PA Certification (Required) Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) (Required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr University Hospitals
