Test Driver (Robot Cars) with Tech Experience

Job Description

Data Collection Driver – $28–$32/hour
Schedule: Full-time, 8–10 hour shifts, 1PM–10PM (includes 25%–50% night driving)

About the Role

We’re hiring professional and dependable drivers to join an innovative AI technology company on a mapping and video recording project . You’ll be driving a company-provided vehicle to collect location data, manage files, and ensure safe operations.

This is a great opportunity for drivers with rideshare, delivery, or other commercial driving experience who are looking for steady, well-paid work and the chance to support cutting-edge autonomous vehicle projects.

What You’ll Do

Drive a company vehicle safely for 8–10 hours/day (some night driving required)
Map and record assigned routes according to project instructions
Handle and organize collected data securely each shift
Monitor progress and provide accurate reporting
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Travel & Training (Required)

Bay Area (Redwood City): Sept 1 – Oct 1 (lodging + per diem provided)
Los Angeles: Oct 1 – Dec 1 (lodging + per diem provided)

Qualifications

Clean driving record (must provide driving history)
Commercial driving experience (Uber, Lyft, delivery, courier, or similar)
Comfortable with long hours and night driving
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Able to work independently and follow detailed instructions
Basic digital data/file handling experience a plus
Familiarity with ADAS or AV technology a plus, not required
