Engineer II - QA

The role of a Quality Assurance Engineer II at IEHP includes coordinating the analysis of software programs, creating and implementing testing plans, recording results, and providing recommendations to improve software based on those results. You will work independently to accomplish QA duties required across IT at IEHP, supporting testing efforts within an agile team and executing all levels of testing—including System, API, Data Validation, Integration, and Regression. The position also evaluates the organization’s technical infrastructure for security issues and interfaces with end users to understand business and API requirements. In some cases, you may identify areas of improvement such as cost‑reduction and automation solutions. The Engineer II – QA performs ETL tests requiring strong PL/SQL skills and data‑warehousing knowledge. This experience is in addition to the minimum years listed in the Experience Requirements above) Key Qualifications Must have knowledge of healthcare industry – standard EDI message formats like HL7 (ADT's, Orders, Charges), X12 (837/835, 270/271, 276/277), NCPDP, HIPAA, etc. are required Knowledge of IT SDLC processes and QA practices; knowledge in SQL query writing and test automation tools a plus Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills Excellent organizational skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent listening and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft PC desktop applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Visio A keen attention to detail Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user‑friendly language Highly self‑motivated and self‑directed Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment Strong customer service orientation A self‑starter, able to work effectively with minimal direct supervision Start your journey towards a thriving future with IEHP and apply today!
