Construction Project Manager

We are seeking to hire a Project Manager to support a large-scale pharmaceutical construction project in New York. The PM is responsible to keep the project adhering to schedule / deadlines and within budget. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders, maintaining strong client relationships and communication. Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, invoicing, requisitions, cash flow, and profit optimization. Oversee procurement and buyout activities, working closely with estimating and purchasing teams to secure subcontractors and materials. Lead project planning efforts, including constructability reviews, staffing plans, resource allocation, and schedule development and management. Facilitate and lead project meetings, including owner-architect-contractor and subcontractor meetings, ensuring timely documentation, reporting, and follow-up. Direct project controls processes, including RFIs, submittals, material tracking, change management, contract administration, and insurance compliance. Partner with field leadership to proactively resolve issues impacting safety, quality, cost, and schedule while driving project execution and performance. Mentor, develop, and evaluate project team members, providing coaching, training, and leadership across multiple projects or complex assignments. Support business development initiatives through proposal development, client presentations, industry networking, interviews, and pursuit activities. Authority: You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel. Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred OR 10+ years of equivalent experience 5+ year’s experience in a Project Manager role, ideally with a general contractor, and at least one project supporting the construction of a life sciences / pharmaceutical manufacturing facility 5+ year’s of proven track record delivering projects on schedule and within budget Strong experience managing complex projects with significant MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) scopes, preferably within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, life sciences, industrial, mission-critical, or cGMP-regulated environments Demonstrated commitment to site safety, regulatory compliance and adherence to applicable laws, regulations and industry standards OSHA 10-hour required, OSHA 30-hour preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Atlantach Technical Services
