(USA) Merchandising Lead

Overview Position Summary... What you'll do... Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs, providing guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology. Assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting the company's products and services. Assists management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and guiding member service approaches and techniques to ensure issues are resolved according to company guidelines. Supports recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors, organizes and maintains the sales floor, and completes required documentation according to company policies and procedures. Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and correcting and reporting unsafe situations to management. Ensures maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation by handling claims and returns, merchandising, stocking, pricing, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise. Monitors product quality, rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation standards in accordance with company policies and procedures. Oversees the picking and staging of club pick-up orders and develops processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners, analyzing information from multiple sources, and identifying improvement opportunities. Demonstrates integrity and ethics by explaining and applying company policies and standards and assisting with corrective actions as needed. Leads and participates in teams, coordinates work assignments, and supports others in adapting to change. Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services. Supervise and train associates; assign duties; communicate goals and feedback; ensure issues are resolved per company guidelines. Support recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promotion, coaching, and evaluating associates. Receive, stock, and organize supplies and merchandise; manage documentation and sales floor presentation. Maintain safety and compliance; conduct safety checks; handle hazardous materials per policy; report unsafe conditions. Manage claims, returns, pricing, display setup, and inventory integrity; identify shrink and damaged goods. Monitor product quality, rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation; ensure proper merchandising across departments. Coordinate club pick-up orders; ensure correct selection and staging per policy. Collaborate with leadership and partners to analyze data, monitor progress, and implement improvement opportunities. Model and promote compliance with ethics and company standards; support open-door policy and issue resolution. Lead or participate in teams; provide guidance and feedback to ensure quality and timelines; mentor others as needed. Must be 18 years of age or older. 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.
