TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Gaffney, South Carolina, 29340!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 2 years preferred License: Pending license accepted; must obtain before starting Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Experience in telemetry Description: This position is within a resource pool role. The registered nurse will be allocated to a specific campus but may float to other locations if needed. Registered nurses will know their schedules in advance. The patient ratio is 1:6. Candidates with 1+ years of experience will be considered. Weekend shifts may be required as needed. On-call shifts may also be required, particularly during holiday coverage. There is a requirement to pass arrhythmia and medication tests on the first day. Shaving may be necessary to pass the fit test; failure to do so will result in not meeting fit testing requirements. Compliance with attendance policy is mandatory. If more than two shifts are missed without a valid explanation, the contract may be reviewed for cancellation. All requested time off must be included with the initial application submission. Recent experience with electronic health record systems is preferred. Candidates will have one chance to pass the cardiac dysrhythmia test during orientation. Moderate sedation tests are required for specific units. Mandatory compliance documents are due prior to the start date. Travelers must go into the lab within 24 hours after signing the offer.
