Our client is seeking a Engineering Technician to join their team! This position is located in Franklin, Massachusetts.
Duties:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple drive testing activities on PowerEdge servers to ensure performance and reliability standards are met
- Analyze test data to identify specification violations, potential risks, and overall compliance with established test criteria
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate issues, implement solutions, validate fixes, and drive resolution in partnership with suppliers
- Perform system troubleshooting and repairs at the component level to maintain optimal functionality
- Set up, configure, and test prototype systems and software
- Assemble and disassemble drives and devices under test (DUTs) within server environments
- Operate, calibrate, and verify electronic test equipment
- Rack and cable servers, ensuring proper setup and functionality testing
- Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to communicate findings, insights, and progress to management and stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Knowledge in Storage Technology and HDD/SSD is desired
