Job Description: Position Overview

We are seeking Insurance Sales Representatives to assist individuals and families with their life insurance and financial protection needs.

This remote position involves speaking with prospective clients, reviewing their insurance needs, explaining available coverage options, and assisting with insurance applications.

Previous insurance experience is not required. Candidates with backgrounds in sales, customer service, education, financial services, or other client-facing roles are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective clients by phone or video conference.
• Assess individual and family insurance needs.
• Explain life insurance and related insurance products.
• Provide product information based on client needs and eligibility.
• Assist clients with completing insurance applications.
• Maintain accurate and professional client communication.
• Follow up with prospective and existing clients as appropriate.
• Complete required insurance carrier, product, and compliance training.
• Maintain applicable state insurance licenses and carrier appointments.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and dependable.
• Comfortable communicating with clients remotely.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to learn insurance products and industry regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous sales, customer service, or financial services experience is preferred but not required.
• Must meet applicable state licensing and insurance carrier requirements.

Insurance Licensing

An active life insurance license is preferred but not required at the time of application.

Candidates who are not currently licensed must obtain the appropriate state insurance license before conducting insurance sales. Licensing requirements and costs vary by state.

Training resources and licensing guidance are available.

Compensation

Individual earnings vary based on sales activity, product selection, carrier compensation schedules, policy issuance, persistency, and other applicable factors. No specific level of income is guaranteed.

Training and Support

Representatives have access to virtual training, product education, carrier resources, mentorship, and technology to support client communication and insurance sales activities.

Work Environment

This position is remote. Representatives communicate with prospective clients primarily by phone and video conference and are responsible for managing their individual work schedules and client appointments.
